Minority Graduate Student Abstract Achievement Award
"Receiving the MGSAAA and being able to present my work and network with scientists and physicians in the field at poster sessions and the MRI luncheon has confirmed my passion for hematology and introduced me to the supportive community at ASH."
The Minority Graduate Student Abstract Achievement Award (MGSAAA) is part of the ASH Minority Recruitment Initiative. The goal of the MGSAAA is to attract and/or retain PhD students who come from communities underserved and underrepresented in hematology in the United States and Canada to pursue a career in academic hematology. At the ASH annual meeting, students have the opportunity to hear the latest advances in hematology-related research, and interact with ASH leadership, senior researchers, physicians, scientists, and students.
